Ryan J. Kueker, O.D.
Dr. Ryan Kueker is a dedicated optometrist and the proud owner of Family Eye Care, with locations in Wamego, Manhattan, St. Marys, Seneca, and Onaga, Kansas. Born and raised in Concordia, Kansas, Dr. Kueker graduated from Concordia High School before pursuing higher education and a passion for athletics.
He attended Garden City Community College on a basketball scholarship, where he honed his skills both on the court and in the classroom. After his time in junior college, he transferred to Kansas State University, earning his Bachelor’s degree in 2001. Dr. Kueker then advanced his education at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2005.
Upon completing his training, Dr. Kueker returned to Kansas and immediately purchased the Wamego practice from Dr. Verne Claussen, marking the beginning of his journey as a practice owner. Under his leadership, Family Eye Care has grown to serve multiple communities across the region, providing exceptional eye care with a patient-centered approach.
Dr. Kueker is married to his wife, Jessica Kueker, and together they have two children. Jessica is a real estate agent in Wamego and Manhattan. Their daughter, Cadence Kueker, is currently attending Oklahoma State University, where she competes on the Equestrian team and studies Nutrition and Pre-Med. Their son, Regan Kueker, is a junior at Wamego High School, with a love for golf and basketball.
With deep roots in Kansas and a commitment to both his family and his profession, Dr. Kueker continues to make a positive impact on the vision health of his community.

Kassidy Nelson, O.D.
Originally from Emmett, Kansas, Dr. Nelson earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Nelson enjoys caring for patients of all ages and takes pride in helping each person with their unique visual needs. Whether it’s a child’s first eye exam or a complex vision concern, she is passionate about providing thorough, personalized care.
Outside the office, she loves spending time with her husband, Bryon Nelson, an Olsburg, Kansas native, and their two children.

Christina A. Windhorst, O.D.
Dr. Christina A. Windhorst was in practice for over 15 years in Junction City, KS, before joining Family Eye Care in December 2024. A proud graduate of Kansas State University and Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Windhorst is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality eye care to patients of all ages, with a focus on maintaining clear, healthy vision throughout life.
Dr. Windhorst has deep roots in the area, with her mother from Wamego and her father from Flush. She is married to Aaron Windhorst, a financial planner with Konza Wealth, and together they have a son who is active in baseball, football, and golf. The Windhorst family also shares their home with two golden retrievers, who are known to pop into the office and greet patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Windhorst enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and baking in her kitchen, working on home improvement projects, and staying involved in her community as a member of the Manhattan Catholic School PTO and on the Board of Friends of Sunset Zoo. She also loves cheering on her Kansas State Wildcats!
